An extremely rare opportunity to catch a glimpse inside the studio of respected painter, collage artist and printmaker Brenda Hartill RE. Brenda will be opening her studio for ONE WEEKEND ONLY this December. Don’t Miss it!
Born in England, Brenda emigrated to New Zealand with her parents in the late 1950’s. She returned to London in the mid 1960s to study Theatrical design at the Central School of Art and Design. In the early 1980s, she turned towards printmaking and is best known for her heavily embossed limited edition etchings and collagraphs, based on landscape forms.
In addition to her prints, over the last 10 years, Brenda has developed a passion for producing unique watercolour paintings, using her collagraph embossing as inspiration. Brenda is a member of the Royal Society of painter printmakers (RE) and has frequently served as a council member. She is also a member of Rye Society of Artists and has shown in galleries worldwide, including Bankside Gallery, Curwen Gallery London and Cambridge Contemporary Art.
Exclusively for one weekend only, Brenda will be offering 40% off a selection of unframed artist proof prints and collagraphs. There will also be studio discounts on hand-made cards and a wide selection of larger works, which would make perfect gifts this Christmas for those special people in your life.
