Born in London, England, Brenda emigrated to New Zealand with her parents in the late 1950’s. She returned to London in the mid 1960s to study Theatrical design at the Central School of Art and Design. In the early 1980s, she turned towards printmaking and is best known for her heavily embossed limited edition etchings and collagraphs, based on landscape forms.

In addition to her prints, over the last 10 years, Brenda has developed a passion for producing unique watercolour paintings, using her collagraph embossing as inspiration. Brenda is a member of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers (RE) and has frequently served as a council member. She is also a member of Rye Society of Artists and has shown in galleries worldwide, including Bankside Gallery and Curwen Gallery, London and Cambridge Contemporary Art.

For the first two weekends in September Brenda will be offering 40% off a selection of her unframed artist proof prints and collagraphs.
There will also be studio discounts on her framed and unframed pieces, including new works inspired by this wonderful summer, many of which she will be showing for the very first time.

There will also be a number of small enhanced etchings and cards available for sale.
