KATA’s Curated Art Exhibitions: A Captivating Finale to 2024
Beautiful pieces of unique fine Jewellery, handmade using 100% recycled gold & platinum, glint from within the bespoke display cases. When you manage to tear your eyes away from the gorgeous jewels and gemstones on offer, and cast your eyes upwards, you will see the walls are adorned with the most amazing fine artworks curated by Jennifer Kata.
KATA play host to three exhibitions a year, each showcasing two unique artists. Jennifer hand-picks each artist, pairing together two artists which are complementary to each other, and yet stand strongly on their own, creating a unique interplay between the two.
KATA’s final art exhibition for 2024 unites the works of intuitive painter, Caroline Martin, and the unique abstract photography by Lena Bruce.
Both artists prompt the viewer to interpret the textural forms and details within their works.
Caroline Martin lives in East Sussex. Inspired by music & nature, particularly water, Caroline’s paintings are full of fluid movement and layers of texture & colour, drawing the viewer inward and finding fresh detail with every new look. Her colour palette is initially calm and inviting blues & greys, which are brought to life by flecks of orange & gold.
The photographic art created by Lena Bruce is textural and detailed – immediately eye-catching & captivating.Lena’s work focuses on the intensely beautiful details found within nature. Her images bring us incredibly close to her subjects, reveling in the textures and forms that are only captured when one draws in close, looking beyond the big picture to the beauty within. The result is compelling images that offer intrigue and illusion.
KATA Jewellery & Arts gallery will have three more exhibitions next year and I am very excited to see the new creative offerings they present. Each exhibition at KATA Jewellery & Arts gallery has a hotly anticipated ‘Meet the Artist’ event – to be the first to hear about the next one, I’d recommend signing up to KATA’s newsletter at
