Weddings rings are a symbol and constant reminder of the love and commitment that you cherish together. What could be more special and romantic than hand crafting each other’s wedding rings? Not only will it add even more magic to your very special day, but it’ll be a talking point for years to come!
Held within their fully equipped Kentish studio, surrounded by countryside on the outskirts of Sittingbourne, Andy and H of Lawley Design invite you to spend the day making your own wedding rings (and some special memories too). You’ll have exclusive use of the workshop, expert tuition from Andy Lawrence, Master Goldsmith, and will have created two beautiful and unique wedding rings in your chosen precious metal(s).
When making your wedding rings, you will be expertly guided through each step and given all the help you need. Under their supervision, your rings will be made to the high standard of craftsmanship that they are known for. Your day starts with an introduction to the workshop and then moves on to heating, shaping, hammering, soldering and finishing. You’ll be provided with refreshments throughout the day, as well as a delicious lunch (all dietary requirements and tastes are catered for). They then send your rings off to be hallmarked and any necessary finishing (such as gemstone setting or engraving) will be completed by the team before you’re invited back to collect your finished wedding rings.
The price of this experience is £275 (weekdays) or £300 (weekends) per couple, plus materials. With a wide choice of materials available, all rings are made from the chosen bullion metal.
From their relaxing, dog-friendly studio, Andy and H guarantee a very warm welcome. They take huge pride in their customer service, as well as their craft skills and design and strive to give you a personal and tailored experience to remember. The fine jewellers also offer the specialist Japanese precious metal woodgrain technique of Mokume Gane.
