Summer cocktail evenings at Balfour Winery
A beautiful Tudor estate, in the heart of Kent, is home to the Hush Heath Estate and Balfour Winery. In celebration of their twenty-year anniversary this year, they are hosting a number of events throughout the summer and onwards into autumn/winter. One of those events, brought back by popular demand, is the Summer Cocktail Evening.
Enjoy an array of refreshing, chilled, cocktails blended with Balfour Wine whilst soaking up the breathtaking view of Nannette’s Vineyard from the balcony, of the contemporary winery building. And for those evenings where there is a slight chill in the air, you can take a seat in the relaxing and spacious tasting room.
We caught up with Aimée Margott the Digital Marketing Executive at Balfour Winery on what to expect from attending a Summer Cocktail Evening.
“I must say, although slightly biased, it was honestly one of the most beautiful evenings. We sat outside on the terrace soaking up the sun, enjoying the view all whilst sipping on a cocktail. It was just so relaxing!”
On arrival, you are greeted with a glass of the Balfour Mimosa before selecting other cocktails of your choice. All cocktails are made with either Balfour Wine or Jake’s Summer Fruit Cider, the cocktail menu includes a delicious Limoncello Spritz and a Summer Cider Spritz both light but packed with flavour.
If you’re looking for a gentle relaxed atmosphere to savour a beautiful summer evening, with a cocktail in hand and chatter and laughter aplenty, then Balfour Winery is the place to be this August. Thursday 18th August, 7.30pm — 10.30pm. At £25 per person, this includes two cocktails and 25% off their sharing platters full of locally sourced produce.
