Elysian Residences Invites Local Sevenoaks Residents to Enjoy a Taste of Wildernesse House at The Pavilion Restaurant

Wildernesse House in Sevenoaks, formally a Grade II listed stately home and grounds, Elysian Residences are delighted to invite the Sevenoaks community to visit the Pavilion restaurant, which serves delicious, locally sourced food to homeowners and the local community at their new luxury retirement community this exceptional restaurant is arguably one of the finest in the local area, ideal for homeowners, friends and neighbors to come together.

The Pavilion restaurant is located within the grounds of the estate. The restaurant offers an outstanding à la carte menu which makes the most of locally sourced produced, including herbs from the kitchen garden, creating menus which are specially tailored to the seasons as well as the tastes and requests of homeowners and local customers at Wildernesse House. The restaurant also serves a three course Sunday Lunch menu. The menus are complemented by an extensive wine list including wine from local Kent vineyard Chapel Down.

The Head Chef at the Pavilion restaurant is award winning chef Gareth Cox, a local Kent resident, who began his career at the London Hilton Olympia at age 17 before moving to Claridge’s Hotel as Junior Sous Chef. Moving for love, Gareth worked in Ukraine for three years as a Head Chef in Kyiv. Returning to England, Gareth began working for Gordon Ramsay at the Boxwood Café in Knightsbridge. Following this, he was offered the chance to be Head Chef for a boutique hotel in Maidstone, his hometown, where he won two Rosettes and was Michelin Recommended while also winning five Dinners Choice Awards and a Best Food in the County Award.

Taking time away from hotels, Gareth bought a pub in Ashford which he ran successfully for four years. Now that his children are older, Gareth is delighted to be back in the kitchen, bringing his wealth of experience with him to the Pavilion restaurant at Wildernesse House.
