Drawing inspiration from the decorated and coloured ceramics of bygone eras, Burlington has worked closely with the talented illustrator and British textile designer, Julie Ingham, to create the Bespoke by Burlington collection. Made to order by skilled craft workers in Staffordshire, using the finest materials, each of the patterns within the Decorated Collection has been carefully hand-illustrated by Julie.
From the intricate patterns of the Art Deco, Floral, Seascape and Cityscape decorated designs to the bold and captivating shades of the Confetti Pink, Alaska Blue and Moon Grey ceramics, the stunning pieces offer the opportunity to create a truly bespoke bathroom, suited to individual tastes and design choices.
Presented across selected pieces in Burlington’s comprehensive collection of WCs and basins, the coloured pieces promise to make an impressive statement within any modern-day traditional bathroom interior.
The colours collection has been developed from a palette of classically vintage shades. The idea was to create a collection that would put a contemporary twist on the classic coloured suite, whilst remaining true to traditional ceramic shapes and designs.
Expertly hand-illustrated by Julie, each individual pattern is applied by highly trained ceramic lithographers onto selected basins and WCs in the Burlington collection. From 1920s architectural patterns and monochrome cityscapes, to both delicate and bold florals, the Decorated Collection brings authentic charm and unique character to traditional bathrooms.
