Hastings Seafood and Wine Festival – Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 September – The Stade, Hastings

Enjoy delicious fish dishes from local businesses and wines from local vineyards, along with a range of the best produce the area has to offer. Fantastic locally made beers, ciders, meat and vegetarian dishes will also be available as well as sweet treats and refreshments. There’s also family focussed fish demos, plus arts and crafts for the children during the weekend. Things for the whole family to enjoy. As well as dozens of traders, there will be a weekend full of live music and entertainment in the music tent on the beach.

Fish Basics for Kids with Fish Boss CJ Jackson and local legends Tush and Pat Hamilton. Daily at 12, 1.30pm and 3pm

CJ Jackson runs the cookery school at Billingsgate Market and loves working with Tush and Pat. They’ve tailored this masterclass especially for children — with an adult. Learn about the local fishery and types of fish landed in Hastings. Play Guess the Fish’, learn how to prepare fish, and create a fish taco to try! All with wristbands are welcome but places are limited.

In addition to this something for the for very little ones to enjoy including arts and crafts and face painting in The Stade Hall! Must be always accompanied by a wristband wearing adult. Daily from 11am – 5:30pm

Liane returns for another Jazz Breakfast in her hometown of Hastings. If you haven’t experienced this talented performer in person you absolutely should! She always delivers, vocally and musically with a personality and performance that will brighten up your Sunday morning — even if it’s raining.

Weekend Wristbands cost £5 in advance from Hastings Museum, or £6 on the gate. Under 18s go free. 

Tickets for the famous Sunday Jazz Breakfast with Liane Carroll are available to buy from Judges Bakery in Hastings Old Town. Price includes a two hour concert, continental breakfast and wristband for weekend entry to the Seafood and Wine Festival. Adults £22.50, under 18s £12.50
